LLN Hosts Program Highlighting Sexual Violence Against Children

On December 9, 2024, during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, Legal Literacy Nepal conducted a significant data-sharing event at the meeting hall of Tokha Municipality. The program unveiled findings from a study involving 421 students across five community and five institutional schools in Tokha Municipality, shedding light on the pressing issue of sexual violence against children in the area.
The event welcomed 35 participants, including head teachers, educators, school nurses, and representatives from Tokha Municipality's Education, Youth and Sports Department, Social Inclusion Department, and Health Department. Deputy Mayor Murari Tamang graced the occasion as the special guest. The initiative was made possible with the support of DKA Austria.
