Legal Literacy - Nepal organized a Research Pre-Planning Meeting with Stakeholders
On Monday, May 18, Legal Literacy Nepal organized a “Research Pre-Planning Meeting with Stakeholders” under its ongoing study on peer violence among school children. The meeting was attended by 18 participants, including teachers, school nurses, officials from Tokha Municipality’s Education, Youth and Sports Department, representatives from the Women, Children and Social Inclusion Department, and members of Tokha Nagar Bal Sanjal.
The discussion focused on gathering feedback and recommendations from key stakeholders prior to launching field-level research on peer violence in schools and its effects on children’s education and wellbeing. Participants reviewed the research tools, implementation strategies, and the importance of adopting child-friendly and ethical research practices.
During the interaction, stakeholders also highlighted the importance of stronger coordination among schools, local government agencies, health professionals, and child networks to prevent peer violence and promote safer and more supportive learning environments for children.
